Question about Google Adwords Impressions?

Hi

I just started advertising on Google. I would like to get my business noticed.

I placed a few of my screen names using keywords. I just wanted to see if they get

impressions. My question is one of them had lots of impressions,

does this mean they searched for this particular name specifically

or could this just be some type of broad advertising?
