How much does it cost to have a 30 second add during primetime?

I was just curious. Are we talking 100,000. Maybe a Million? It would help if a specific example was given. Like currently lost is averaging around 16 million viewers this season. How much does ABC bank on those ratings?
I think it is in the ballpark of half a million dollars.
I love watching the ads during the superbowl. =)

RATINGS. The high the shows ratings, the more expensive the commercial. Have you notices brand names appear in the actual program more these days? It costs less to buy product placement IN the show than to buy a commercial fewer people will view.

It depends on the market the station plays to. It can be anywhere from $30 up to six figures or even seven.
